Carmon comes to Kandi’s house to fill her in on the latest of Joyce’s deceptions and trickery and this time it has gone to a whole other level. A close friend of Joyce’s “Crystal” has been running her mouth on theTodd/Carmon situation (or lack thereof) so Carmon decides to call Crystal to
tell her to keep quiet. In return, Mama Joyce leaves a pretty vile message for
Carmon. It even shocked Kandi (yet she is still in total defense of her
mother). Then we come to find out that Benny (Crystal’s boyfriend) was asked by
Mama Joyce to set Todd up. Basically she wanted to pay Benny to take pictures
of Todd hanging out with other women. I have to say that is one sick idea. She
has really sunk low to offer money to catch Todd in the act. She clearly doesn’t care about hurting her
daughter. The saddest is part is that no matter what low Mama Joyce comes to Kandi is never willing to really talk to her mother about it. Todd is happy that at least Carmon has stuck up for him, even though Kandi has not. I think Kandi is going to have to lose Todd for real before any of this will really sink in. It’s a shame too because they seem to really love one another. Mama Joyce didn’t like
AJ and now Todd. It seems like she will never like anyone that gets close to her daughter and it seems like it’s primarily motivated by money.
Next up, Miss Nene Leakes.
Kenya is planning a charity event that will honor what she
believes to be as Nene’s favorite charity, “Saving our Daughters.” She invites
all the ladies to attend via e-vite (all housewives use e-vite. They throw
around money when planning these lavish parties, yet continuously invite people
via e-vite. It just doesn’t make sense! It’s seems like some kind of
oxymoron!)and starts auditioning men with Cynthia and Marlo who will be
auctioned off for the charity. It interesting to watch Marlo and Kenya together.
They seem to really get along with one another. I think at one point Kenya had
the same understanding with Nene but Nene has severed ties since her Pillow Talk
party. In either case, whether Kenya was choosing Nene’s charity out of the
goodness of her heart or whether it was a peace offering to Nene, it was a good
gesture to not just throw some random party with costumes (like they always do!)
but to make it about charity. Nene claims she never got the e-vite and the only
reason she showed up is because Cynthia texted her about it. She comes with a HUGE chip on her shoulder and when asked to speak, she says about 5 words and walks away. Her ego is so out of
control. She really thinks she is Julia Roberts or something. She has been on 2 shows, 1 of which was canceled. Settle down! She then, abruptly leaves. Peter decides he is over her ego as well and wants to leave. Peter and Nene have words in the parking lot and Nene states that “none of these b*tches are on my level.” Ah there she goes again being so humble. I’m over you Nene. Seriously. Over.
I think everyone needs to stop giving Kenya so much grief. Yes, she does stir the pot, but she does function with reason and feelings most of the time, but she rarely gets the credit for it. Team Kenya. All. The. Way.
Let’s tune in next week to see more of Nene’s oh so humble behavior.
