the fighting at Nene’s pillow talk party. The ladies feel that had Kenya not
jumped up to defend herself Brandon wouldn’t have jumped up to her defense
because of Christopher and therefore Apollo wouldn’t have laid hands on
Brandon. I fortunately, disagree wholeheartedly. Kenya has every right in this
free world to jump up and defend herself. It was a choice by Christopher to
grab her arm and a choice by Brandon to tell him not to put his hands on her
and a choice by Apollo to have some kind of “prison flashback” and beat the
crap out of Brandon. Everyone at that party made choices to get violent or out
of control by their own free will. No one can make another person do anything
of that nature. I feel like the ladies just use Kenya as a scapegoat for the
bad behavior because they don’t really like her. This will definitely come up
at the reunion and I will be interested to see if the ladies have a change of heart once they do see that Christopher did grab Kenya’s arm.
It was big of Kandi to apologize to the ladies for her outburst. Who hasn’t been there? But this was fairly out of character for Kandi, so it was good to see her owning up to her behavior.
Brandon even reached out to Nene to apologize but of course Nene didn’t see the positives and just blamed Kenya for giving out her “private number.”
The one person that should have been apologizing was Apollo and
all he really did was blame others. He blames Brandon: “ he had rage in his
eyes” and blames the party in general for his bad behavior. He does apologize
to Phaedra but she barely holds him accountable. This is a man with 2 kids and
a criminal record. He could have easily been thrown in jail for his actions and
only wasn’t because Brandon was thinking of APOLLO’s children. It was appalling
to see Phaedra was ready to defend him to the ladies. What he did was indefinable bottom line.
These ladies need to stop making excuses all around and take ownership of their crap behavior or the crap behavior of their significant
others. Those men are direct reflections of them. I hope to see more
accountability next episode.
