means, it’s the calm before the storm. We must be setting up for some more drama
to follow in upcoming episodes. So for now, we’ll talk about Carlton’s adult
themed pool party filled with Housewives and Carlton’s team of quasi-lesbians.
It wasn’t over the top, but wasn’t your average BH tea party. Overall, it didn’t
do much for the episode except set up an interesting interaction between Carlton
and Kyle. It’s clear these two don’t really get it each other, but I think their
main problem is really more along the lines of miscommunication than dislike.
Kyle seems to ask questions about Carlton’s religion more out of curiosity then
offense, but it doesn’t come across that way to Carlton. In either case, as a
peace offering Kyle gives Carlton the necklace right off her neck and Carlton does seem truly touched. Only wish those sentiments lasted a bit longer….
Kim takes part in the“Autograph and Pop Culture Expo” where she meets fans and signs
autographs. She also reconnects with other, and I hate to say this word but,
‘has been’ celebrities. These scenes are fairly awkward needless to say and her
fans are some interesting characters (i.e. the woman with the werepuppy that
looks exactly like her and the mother and daughter pair that give Kim a turtle
pin). But all in all, seems like a positive experience for Kim and we celebrate
anything she does that brings her happiness, even if it means holding that
During the closing scenes some of the ladies get together at Yolanda’s for a painting
party. It seemed fairly mellow until Carlton brings up that she feels like Kyle
is talking smack about her. She has no evidence, just a feeling she attributed
from her dream. Joyce tries to reassure her that it’s not true, but Carlton
doesn’t really want to hear it and the group is left thinking that Carlton will
be putting a spell on Joyce. She claims she doesn’t believe in it, but in the
final scene Joyce is seen telling Kim that her husband got really sick that
night….and it seems that Joyce has a change of heart and may actually believe
there is a spell on her.
Tune in next week for more on the witches of Beverly Hills.
